Faith is such a commonly used word, and often we hear from our friends, families and even our teachers in life to have faith in our future. But what does it really mean to have faith in the future?
To really apply the phrase "having faith in the future", we need to first understand what does it mean.
Two really good examples which helped me a lot is Soccer as well as the Chinese Bamboo tree.
I believe most of us have watched some soccer matches, at one point in our life, regardless whether we are ladies or gentlemen. Faith is like re-watching the soccer matches, after seeing the results. The only difference is that we have to create the results in our mind 1st, and believe in it, and therefore when we act upon our belief in the unseen, we are applying faith.

The biggest problem with this statement "applying faith" is that we will never know when the results will really show, but we know that if we keep doing the work, we will get to our destination because along the way we will make corrections and get better at it.
Chinese Bamboo Tree is a really good analogy of applied faith. In the initial first 3 to 5 years, the bamboo tree seedling will hardly show any growth despite us feeding and watering it daily. This is the phase whereby people start to give up, and lose faith, as they do not see immediate results, and Five years is an incredible amount of time to wait!
However, if you apply faith that the tree will eventually grow and you continue to water and feed is daily, it will start to grow exponentially. Here is some pictures for you to refer to.
