New Year, New Resolutions?

In close to about 10 hours from now, it will be the fresh new year.  Before we leap forth into the new year, with new resolutions, I feel it is important to reflect and close this year properly, by learning from all the mistakes, failures and victories that we have experienced for this year 2014.

I feel that this year is neither short nor can I consider it long, and looking back I feel that I could have done so much more, so much better with all the time the year has to offer me. Thank you 2014, for teaching me all the lessons that I did not learn from the year 2013, and allowing me to grow slowly but surely.

This quote struck a chord in my soul, and it is from the cover of the notebook which I have bought recently. "It does not matter how slowly you go so long ..... as you do not stop"

Indeed though I did not progress as fast as I intended for my life to move, and missed a lot of goals plus almost gave up many times in my journey, I feel that it is all good for wherever I am at is where I had wanted myself to be at.

Slowly but surely, as long we do not stop, we will get to the destination we want to go to eventually. I am proud to be a slow-starter, for the tortoise will eventually catch up, thanks to the sleeping hare.

I learnt a recent lesson from one of my life coach, in order for us to profit from our past failures, mistakes, we must be able to extricate ourselves from the situation, and look for the benefits for these situations that has happened in our life. Profit from the benefits, and be thankful for them.

Voila, we will now march on with much more gratefulness in our hearts to usher in the brand new year, 2015!

See you all next year,
